Livescores
[edit]Hi. Based on Wikipedia policies and guidlines we should not provide live updates(based on WP:LIVESCORES and WT:FOOTY consensus here). This has also been discussed many more times. This includes everything such as "top scores" etc. If any editor add these livescores/liveupdates without any further discussion here will be considered disruptive and you may be blocked. Please wait until matches are finished. Thank you. QED237 (talk) 21:10, 6 November 2013 (UTC)
- With all due respect, edits like this were you add goal to appearance table while the same player scored in CL is clearly live update. You can not do ANY live updates. Wikipedia is not a livescoring website. QED237 (talk) 21:56, 6 November 2013 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. At least one of your recent edits, such as the edit you made to 2013–14 Chelsea F.C. season, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at the welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make some test edits, please use the sandbox for that. Thank you. I have told you this before, time for a warning now QED237 (talk) 15:55, 9 November 2013 (UTC)
And why is this edit not constructive?!
- Because we should not make any updates on current matches as I have told you above. Wait until match is finished. (ANd maybe constructive is not the right word, I used level 1 - disruptive warning from twinkle and the text is the result above). QED237 (talk) 16:04, 9 November 2013 (UTC)
Listen, I do not harbour disruptive intentions, I am simply a very big Chelsea fan and I do not see the harm in updating appearances, I understand your viewpoint on live "score" updates and will therefore refrain from making edits in relation to this in the future, however returning to my previous point: where is the harm in updating appearances?
- I know from previous edit that you are not a disruptive editor, and that is one of the reason I tried talking to you before warning you. It might sound stupid but we cant add information since matches can get interupted and on a later date awarded to some team, and then goals scored (and apperances) will not count in the statistics and so on. And also there are no reliable source that supports this statistics while match is still in play. I understand that appearances is not a very big deal, but I would still like you to wait until the match is finished. QED237 (talk) 16:22, 9 November 2013 (UTC)
I appreciate how reasonable and polite you are, therefore I will comply. :)
- Thanks, I can inform you that I have started looking for other opinions to make sure that I am right about this and that we should not update appearance table as well. If I am wrong (which I seriously doubt, but dont hurt to double check) I will immediately letting you know about it. Thank you for your understanding. QED237 (talk) 16:45, 9 November 2013 (UTC)
- So far all of the responses I have gotten says I have done the correct thing. You can read it in Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Football#Live updates (again) and User talk:Qed237#Live scores. Hope you have a nice day and keep contributing to wikipedia (but not with live updates). QED237 (talk) 13:19, 11 November 2013 (UTC)
Welcome

[edit]In a recent edit to the page Arsenal F.C., you changed one or more words or styles from one national variety of English to another. Because Wikipedia has readers from all over the world, our policy is to respect national varieties of English in Wikipedia articles.
For a subject exclusively related to the United Kingdom (for example, a famous British person), use British English. For something related to the United States in the same way, use American English. For something related to another English-speaking country, such as Canada, Australia, or New Zealand, use the variety of English used there. For an international topic, use the form of English that the original author used.
In view of that, please don't change articles from one version of English to another, even if you don't normally use the version in which the article is written. Respect other people's versions of English. They, in turn, should respect yours. Other general guidelines on how Wikipedia articles are written can be found in the Manual of Style. If you have any questions about this, you can ask me on my talk page or visit the help desk. Thank you. Walter Görlitz (talk) 20:38, 3 May 2014 (UTC)

[edit]Constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, but a recent edit of yours to the page Can't Deny My Love has an edit summary that appears to be inaccurate or inappropriate. Please use edit summaries that accurately tell other editors what you did, and feel free to use the sandbox for any tests you may want to do. Never use an edit summary to disparage another editor; comment on the content, not the contributor. And if you again refer to another editor, or indeed any person, as a "retard", you are likely to be sanctioned. Such discriminatory language is not permitted on Wikipedia. [edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited 1905–06 Chelsea F.C. season, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Lincoln. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

[edit]Antonee Robinson
[edit]Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Antonee Robinson, without bringing the change against consensus to the Talk page first. Changing the lede against precedent, which is not an unreasonable thing to do if discussed first, should be backed by consensus. As the person suggesting the change, it is up to you to bring about that discussion. Without proper discussion, and the arrival at a new consensus, your edits can constitute vandalism. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Anwegmann (talk) 20:47, 11 May 2021 (UTC)
