An Award for you!

[edit]
The Rajinikanth Award of Excellence and Bravery
Six articles. All of them being films released between 1960 and 1990. Every article being promoted to GA status in a single attempt after loads of brave hard work and sincerity. If what Rajinikanth does on-screen is exceptional, this feat of achieving six consecutive GA successes with non 21st century Tamil film articles is also considered equally exceptional and hence, i present you this award of excellence and bravery for the same. Cheers! Pavanjandhyala (talk) 12:16, 30 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Pavanjandhyala: Thank you very much for this honourable award, Pavanjandhyala. Thamizhan1994 (Appo Pesu) 12:23, 30 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
You deserve it Guru. Great job and keep it up. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 15:56, 30 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Pathala Bhairavi turns a GA! Excluding Kalidas (1931), Pathala Bhairavi is the second non-21st century Telugu film to become a GA after Mayabazar, both being my GAs. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 15:18, 2 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Congrats Pavan on your rare feat. Yes, Kalidas had many Telugu dialogues, but cannot qualify as a Telugu film in the same way that Chennai Express can't be called a Tamil film. Kailash29792 (talk) 15:41, 2 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Pavanjandhyala: I am very happy to hear that. My heartiest congratulations on your success. :-) Thamizhan1994 (Appo Pesu) 15:45, 2 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Kailash29792: Yes. Kalidas is Tamil cinema's first talkie. Telugu cinema's is Bhakta Prahlad (1931) I believe? Thamizhan1994 (Appo Pesu) 15:45, 2 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, but BP came in 1932. Kailash29792 (talk) 15:47, 2 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Kailash29792 and Pavanjandhyala: Ah yes. My mistake. Hopefully that can be made a GA as well right? Thamizhan1994 (Appo Pesu) 15:49, 2 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Certainly. It's so odd that for decades, people thought the film came in 1931, but hats off to the man who discovered the truth. Kailash29792 (talk) 15:53, 2 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Kailash29792: That very same man is instrumental in Pavanjandhyala's two GAs. Thamizhan1994 (Appo Pesu) 15:57, 2 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Lacour ferdinand octave

[edit]

User Lacour ferdinand octave is a die-hard MGR fan, but has been extremely disruptive on his articles. Can you please review his recent edits on Anbe Vaa and see if there was any truth/useful fact in them (which I reverted as it was unconstructive) that can be readded? Kailash29792 (talk) 06:49, 4 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Kailash29792: I checked and found most of his information to be pretty useless and they are from unreliable wordpress sources. You were right in reverting his edits. Thamizhan1994 (Appo Pesu) 04:06, 10 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Nenjil Or Aalayam

[edit]

Hi Thamizhan, I've finished my copyedit of Nenjil Or Aalayam, I hope everything I changed was OK? I managed to clear up a lot of minor prose issues so now it should flow better. The article is comprehensive and well written, so it should be close to meeting the GA criteria! Please let me know if I can help out again in any way. Regards JAGUAR  16:39, 30 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Jaguar: Thank you very much for your copyedits, Jaguar. Yes, I will certainly let you know if you can help out. Thamizhan1994 (Appo Pesu) 00:01, 1 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
