We don't name the dead, survivors, or those who just miss the flight unless they are WP notable. This is per consensus and there was a recent discussion[1] on this very matter....William, is the complaint department really on the roof? 14:55, 20 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you

It looks like this [2] was just reverting for reverting. Thanks for undoing my edit. Regards.--Jetstreamer Talk 21:28, 26 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I just want to talk and explain about my edits.

South Korea-United States relations mean that the crash was investigated by both by Aviation and Railway Accident Investigation Board and the NTSB. The Article also tells Asiana Airlines reactions to the crash

China-United States relations is about the Chinese Passengers who were crushed by the firetrucks and the parent suing San Francisco International Airport

I see you have reverted twice my airplane change, I understand you didn't watch this Mayday episode, you are invited to visit the page for this accident or watch the episode that is available online. The plane was a DC9. https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x7trhra — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mionca (talkcontribs) 19:59, 23 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you so much for helping me to add an image to Lauda Air Flight 004. Can you tell me how did you add an image as all the images were too oversized when you made it just perfect as the image size wasn't exactly doing anything. I am curious to know and I also want to add another image to another article Username006 (talk) 11:42, 9 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I recently reverted back to my version of the List of Mayday Episodes, as you stated we don't put episodes on there until officially confirmed. Great, but we are nearing the date of the first episode (sometime mid january-early february), and I literally already have sources for you. 3 sources in fact.

Here: https://m.imdb.com/title/tt0386950/episodes/?season=-1 https://mobile.twitter.com/aircrash_ https://www.instagram.com/aircrash_/?igshid=NmNmNjAwNzg%3D

All of these layout at some point the episodes for Season 23, and I think IMDB should be enough to convince you, let alone the other two sources. Wikipedia is a place for information, and people go to the list of mayday episodes to find out what they could be watching this season. The sources are there, the work is done for you, what more do you want? People need to get information before the first episode. Keep it as it is now please! ConcordeAAIB (talk) 20:57, 27 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@ConcordeAAIB: Hey there. Yes, I get that historically IMDb has presented accurate listings of future episodes, and in fact I follow those social media accounts extensively. But two fan-made accounts and a website anyone can edit do not hold up to the standards of reliable sources that Wikipedia tries to hold to (see WP:USERGENERATED).
I think this is well illustrated by the fact that it's not 100% clear what the official order of these episodes are yet. The reason IMDb was so accurate was that actors or other people who worked on the show would add the episodes they worked on early, I'd presume to expand their resume. But I've witnessed first hand how most of the listings for this season would come immediately after a recently revealed behind the scenes photo or casting video or something, more than likely not by someone actually on the show. And while people working on the show know the production code of the episodes they worked on and made their listings accordingly, these listings have nothing of such and thus the order of episodes you presented in your edit is superficial. This is admittedly WP:OR on my end, but it's over the use of a source that's agreed upon not to be used anyway, for these exact reasons.
And also, this semi-official rule came about from years of false episode listings, which you can easily find looking back through the history of the article. Admittedly, I don't think this is as much of an issue today, where we have a much more direct, reliable, and understood connection between the show's production and us than the earlier days of the internet. But still, having such a rule ensures proper and reliably information according to the standards of Wikipedia. For these reasons I am reverting the edit. Don't take it too harshly. I get the instance to just get it all down already, as I am also pretty sure most of these listings are correct, but there are standards we have to go by. ThatFlyingSquid (talk) 22:08, 26 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Right, well to save you hassle, make sure you undo the edit once its "officially" confirmed. ConcordeAAIB (talk) 20:22, 27 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Just for your interest/info

[edit]

Hey I thought I’d just let you know that some edits you reverted recently (see Special:Diff/1158982831, Special:Diff/1157727507), were the work of users under a sockpuppet investigation, and some of them have already been blocked. Please see Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/2021Porto Final. Fork99 (talk) 20:10, 7 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@ThatFlyingSquid: If you see any more of this Iran nonsense, please report it to Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Iran Turkey war, the previous link will still work, but the master case is at this link. Fork99 (talk) 07:09, 14 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
