If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:Fynd, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Please explain

[edit]

Hi Trinityfire. I notice that you've recreated Fynd with many of the same characteristics of the deleted page. Are you one of the users who created a page previously, such as Gopreddy (talk · contribs) or Shreya2626 (talk · contribs)? If not, can you describe how you accessed the previous version of the article, and any affiliation you might have to either of those users? Please let me know before you next edit. Best, Kevin (aka L235 · t · c) 23:14, 4 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • @L235: Hi, Fynd was created by drawing examples from other Indian e-commerce websites. In the month of March 2020, I submitted Fynd through AfC and it got a G11: Unambiguous advertising and promotion. Following that, I re-attempted in April 2020 but toned down the content so as to describe what's the company, where's the company, what it does and other funding rounds. Moreover, I do not have access to the previous version and nor do I have any affiliation with the users mentioned above. The sources on the Internet were the only information that I referred before creating this article. Creating a stub-class or start-class article involves minimum but relevant details only, I am not sure why it's coming off as a plagiarized content. Thanks!
