This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Sajjad Ahmed (artist), and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: Sajjad Ahmed. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. If you are intentionally moving or duplicating content, please be sure you have followed the procedure at Wikipedia:Splitting by acknowledging the duplication of material in edit summary to preserve attribution history.
This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 02:29, 8 May 2009 (UTC)
Proposed deletion of Sajjad Ahmed (artist)
[edit]A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Sajjad Ahmed (artist), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:
- Subject does not meet notability standards. Article is mainly promotional. Most references are generic, not pointing to pages that specifically reference the subject. Most information cannot be verified.
All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. - Realkyhick (Talk to me) 03:23, 8 May 2009 (UTC)
Explanation
[edit]For anyone passing by, the above messages were placed on my page because of my redirecting and correcting the good faith edits of User:Avenue22. With this edit, the user replaced the information about Sajjad Ahmed the cricketer with information about a visual artist by the same name. I created the page Sajjad Ahmed (artist) with the new information, and restored the original version of the cricketer's article with the addition of the {{otheruses4}} template. I made the mistake of creating the Sajjad Ahmed (artist) page before I restored the original version of the Sajjad Ahmed page, triggering the first message above and the redirection of the page. -Twinkie eater91 (talk) 14:56, 8 May 2009 (UTC)
AfD nomination of Sajjad Ahmed (artist)
[edit]I have nominated Sajjad Ahmed (artist), an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Sajjad Ahmed (artist). Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Ex ecclesia corde
[edit]I apologize for not displaying the source sooner. A minor structural defect of templates though most others (but not all!) have an obvious support or even a link someplace. I need to think about this for future templates and maybe Wikipedia does as well. Thanks for pointing out that deficiency. Student7 (talk) 22:42, 29 May 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks for the heads up! I appreciate it! Student7 (talk) 19:09, 25 June 2009 (UTC)
Merger
[edit]Hi; I closed the following merger discussion; since consensus was to merge, I'd like to see if you would be willing to complete the merge. Thanks. I've notified the other editors who contributed to the discussion as well. Talk:Opposition_to_the_American_Civil_War#Merger_proposal. --KarlB (talk) 03:32, 1 July 2012 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. citation for quote on Beginning of human personhood page
[edit]Hi, it looks like you're the editor who introduced the text "Norman Ford stated that 'the evidence would seem to indicate not that there is no individual at conception, but that there is at least one and possibly more'" to Beginning of human personhood. Do you have a citation for that quote? If so, it would be great if you would add it to the page. Thanks! FactOrOpinion (talk) 17:56, 6 August 2024 (UTC)
