[edit]Hello, UASLab. We welcome your contributions, but it appears as if your primary purpose on Wikipedia is to add citations to research published by a small group of researchers.
Scientific articles should mainly reference review articles to ensure that the information added is trusted by the scientific community.
Editing in this way is also a violation of the policy against using Wikipedia for promotion and is a form of conflict of interest in Wikipedia – please see WP:SELFCITE and WP:MEDCOI. The editing community considers excessive self-citing to be a form of spamming on Wikipedia (WP:REFSPAM) and the edits will be reviewed and the citations removed where it was not appropriate to add them.
Finally, please be aware that the editing community highly values expert contributors – please see WP:EXPERT. I do hope you will consider contributing more broadly. If you wish to contribute, please first consider citing review articles written by other researchers in your field and which are already highly cited in the literature. If you wish to cite your own research, please start a new thread on the article talk page and add {{requestedit}} to ask a volunteer to review whether or not the citation should be added.

Hello MrOllie,
I understand. Nonetheless, while editing the topic "Control Theory" we're just adding a link to another wikipedia article. Could you explain your motivation to revert the changes? No cites/references were added.

- It isn't one of the 'main techniques' so it doesn't belong on a list that is so titled. - MrOllie (talk) 20:53, 2 March 2022 (UTC)
Seems reasonable enoguh, I will get suitable references for the other sources.
On the other hand, I will kindly ask you to respect work that has been performed by other researchers, avoiding fallacies such as argumentum ad verecundiam. Thus, with your statement "by a small group of researchers" you demerit the work performed by ignoring the review processes involved. The references come from reputable scientific journals, as required by Wikiedia guidelines. The work has been per reviewed and verified by a suitable process.

- The fact remains, the Wikipedia community strongly discourages people who come on to repetitively add citations from a single person (or single group, whatever). Subject matter experts who are here to help write an encyclopedia and not to (self)promote an interest will generally cite a range of diverse individuals and sources. MrOllie (talk) 21:19, 2 March 2022 (UTC)
From your source "multiple articles by a single contributor", we are NOT citing multiple articles from a single contributor. Only one has been added as a reference, because it seemed relevant to the general community rather than a specialized audience.

- You are drawing a distinction without a difference - you were repetitively adding the same article in multiple places. MrOllie (talk) 21:23, 2 March 2022 (UTC)
In 3 specific places: Robust Control, which is a branch of, propelling nozzles which is the application and ADRC, which is the theory. Not unrelated and required to complete the information on the topics.
