Wikipedia's alphabetical index of articles

Sometimes it is useful to look up a topic in the same way you would look it up in a paper book‍—‌using an index. Perhaps you are unsure of the precise name of what you are looking for, or maybe you are interested in a word root which has many applications, such as "self-". Or maybe you would just like to browse the index.

Wikipedia has an index of all of its articles. Here are 3 ways of accessing it:

  1. A–Z index
  2. Special:AllPages
  3. Special:Prefixindex

You can place these links on your user page or talk page (or both) for convenient access.

Sockpuppet investigation

[edit]

An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Vala keep, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.

Sockpuppetry

[edit]

Hello, Valakkpp, welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. Your editing pattern indicates that you may be using multiple accounts or coordinating editing with people outside Wikipedia, such as Vala kals (talk · contribs). Our policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow this, and users who misuse multiple accounts may be blocked from editing. If you operate multiple accounts directly or with the help of another person, please disclose these connections. Thank you. -- RoySmith (talk) 14:19, 1 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not introduce inappropriate pages, such as Wikipedia:WikiProject Maps/Archive 5, to Wikipedia. Doing so is considered to be vandalism and is prohibited. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Under section G3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, the page has been nominated for deletion. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. 🐔 Chicdat ChickenDatabase 12:25, 11 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
