Speedy deletion nomination of Greg heiland
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Greg heiland requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}
) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. MikeWazowski (talk) 20:39, 20 June 2011 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Global Society for Contamination Control (GSFCC)
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Global Society for Contamination Control (GSFCC), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}
) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). [edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Using different styles throughout the encyclopedia, as you did in Global Society for Contamination Control (GSFCC), makes it harder to read. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. — Fly by Night (talk) 19:44, 28 June 2011 (UTC)
Sock
[edit]What is your relationship to Jiefeng Lin (talk · contribs)? — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 16:38, 29 June 2011 (UTC)
- Jiefeng Lin was an intern for Valutek years ago, I do notice he tried to post a wiki page on the gsfcc in 2009, does this contribute at all why it was flagged for deletion? Also to the response on your talk page-there are articles that mention the GSFCC and I believe it is mentioned in contamination control wiki, are you referring to articles as sources or articles within wikipedia? And as for the "<big>" five times, I apologize! As I said, I am new to creating pages and this is only my second attempt! Thanks. Valutek (talk) 16:55, 29 June 2011 (UTC)
I am sure that the previous existence of Global Society for Contamination Control had no effect on the decision of Fly by Night (talk · contribs) to tag Global Society for Contamination Control (GSFCC) for deletion. Nor did it affect my decision to delete the latter. Surely "significant coverage in reliable, independent secondary sources" is self-explanatory. Wikipedia is a tertiary source and most certainly is not reliable. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 17:44, 29 June 2011 (UTC)

[edit]Your username is the only reason for this block. You are welcome to choose a new username (see below).
A username should not be promotional, related to a "real-world" group or organization, misleading, offensive, or disruptive. Also, usernames may not end in the word "bot" unless the account is an approved bot account.
You are encouraged to choose a new account name that meets our policy guidelines. Alternatively, if you have already made edits and you wish to keep your existing contributions under a new name, then you may request a change in username by:
- Adding
{{unblock-un|your new username here}}
on your user talk page. You should be able to do this even though you are blocked, as you can usually still edit your own talk page. If not, you may wish to contact the blocking administrator by clicking on "E-mail this user" on their talk page. - At an administrator's discretion, you may be unblocked for 24 hours to file a request.
- Please note that you may only request a name that is not already in use, so please check here for a listing of already taken names. The account is created upon acceptance, thus do not try to create the new account before making the request for a name change. For more information, please see Wikipedia:Changing username.
- Adding
{{unblock|Your reason here}}
, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 17:44, 29 June 2011 (UTC)
