Stop it

[edit]

Stop removing valid content in the Tolk., article for which I will be adding refs withing the next 3-4 hours. I have refs for everything that I have put there... and I thought you'd told me that you'd be giving 'reasonable time'. Revert yourself or I will be reverting back to my version and adding the refs. If you want to do any "de-POV"ing, do it after I am done.

Also note that, on wikipedia, you dont simply remove content if it is unreferenced. You first ask for references, then you ask for citations and then if nothing is forthcoming you remove content. Sarvagnya 23:41, 2 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

History of Tamil Nadu

[edit]

Parthi, I notice that History of Tamil Nadu is to be featured on May 5 on the main page. I can't wait to see that! Congrats. -- Sundar \talk \contribs 05:09, 3 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I'm really pained by malice in a voluntary encyclopaedia-building activity. I'll stay on for as long as I can maintain my sanity. -- Sundar \talk \contribs 05:20, 3 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Images in Yakshagana

[edit]

Hi, I have a mail from the author himself agreeing to release those images on GFDL. I'll forward the mail to Wikipedia permissions as this is the procedure I followed for this image too. Gnanapiti 01:57, 8 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Would like to know why the photo and the text "TheSilentMaster" removed.

My brother saw "Paramasivendra" of Kanchi coming into his body and this person leaving his to visit his previous birth's Samadhi at Nerur. My brother could hear a old person's voice coming out this saint's body. I myself saw his body going 3 feet above the ground one day in the temple.

Even if Jesus Christ were to come again to this world, we cannot recognize him. We would like him to repeat the same teachings and miracles he did 2007 years back to prove he is Christ. In that case, he would be wasting another birth of his. In every birth he has to prove he is Jesus Christ with the same old teachings and miracles. Then he has to teach new things. By that time his life will be over.

The saint's photo that i uploaded, is none other than "Sadasiva Brahmendra". I have learnt the powers of the brain. How we can extract the mind away from the body. Sit on objects far away. Many have experienced saints visiting him. A friend of mine saw Sri Ramana Maharishi walk inside a photo. Another friend of mine saw Seshadri swamy complaining to him about a garland not placed properly on his (Seshadri Swamy's) photo.

I thought let the world know it.

He is 65 years+. In another 15 - 20 years he will leave this world. We have very limited time left.

I respect all the good things Wikipedia has. Let the world population not miss this saint.

We as human beings erected a person in a cross 2007 years back. He preached to "Love other human beings and love nature". We punished him for saying that.

We keep reading various articles about Sadasiva Brahmendra. We sing his carnatic songs in various forms. We create new tunes to sing his songs. We celebrate his samadhi day at Nerur. What are these for. In what form do we expect him to come back. Should he appear in the same form he was in the 18th century. Few feet above the ground. We have theoretical knowledge about him. He is right in front of us. We do not want to recognize that.

It took me 30 - 45 min to type this reply. I even enjoy thinking about this saint. The very thought makes my mind calm and peaceful. Let us enjoy his presence.

Decision is yours. I respect your dedication to maintain this article that you have created in a clean way. I fully support it. If you want i, will upload again with few other pictures.

Attack of the trolls

[edit]

Since it was proved in ANI that only one editor is involved in all the POV pushing, it seems to me that the original troll has instructed other trolls (by email of course) to build a fake consensus in Tamil related articles. Watch out for their poor English and POV. Thanks Praveen 15:10, 11 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

RFC on Tamil language

This is formal notification for the RFC on Tamil Language to you. Here is the link. Praveen 20:10, 17 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

And... you keep your POV pushing rants out of article spaces. Thanks. Sarvagnya 20:49, 22 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

CSD I4

[edit]

You've recently marked several images for deletion under CSD I4. However, none of those images have been tagged with the appropriate tags that give people a chance to specify the source or copyright information. Instead of using CSD I4, you should use:

{{subst:nld}} (For images with no license) {{subst:nsd}} (For images with no source)

Dates of Azhwars

[edit]

What is the basis of assigning 7th - 10th A.D to Alvars. How would have the saints before ramanuja recited Divya Prabhandams if the last Alvar lived until 10 A.D (Ramanuja was born in 1017).
