Using gadgets

Yep, just go to the top of the page and click on Preferences. Then click on the tab called Gadgets, check the box next to gadgets you want, then press the save button at the bottom of the screen. --TerraCodes (talk to me) 13:41, 18 February 2017 (UTC)

Hi Vladimirrizov20. You can do this by typing the following: User:Vladimirrizov20/enter_your_desired_subpage_name_here into the Wikipedia search box, and then press enter. This will bring you to a page with the title User:Vladimirrizov20/enter_your_desired_subpage_name_here. Now click the 'create' button next to the Wikipedia search box and you will find that you can edit your new subpage as if you were editing any normal wikipedia page, but with no content in it. Enter a few test words, or the content you originally desired to add, and save the new page. Once you click Save changes the page will be created for you. I hope this helps, but if you need any more help with regard to this, do not hesitiate to leave another message here or on my talk page. YEs, by adding {{service awards|year=(year you joined Wikipedia)|month=(month you joined Wikipedia)|day=(day you joined Wikipedia)|edits=(number of edits you have made}}. Note that you will need to update the |edits= parameter periodically. Pppery 18:49, 24 February 2017 (UTC)

Yes, though personally I'd say it's among the less well-designed templates for that purpose; I'd advise making use of {{Infobox Wikipedia user}} instead which is much more customizable. If you like {{user info}} better, nothing is stopping you from using it, though. Huon (talk) 19:02, 10 March 2017 (UTC)

Uploading non-free logos

Can I upload non-free (copyrighted) logos to English Wikipedia? Vladimirrizov20my talk 14:49, 22 May 2017 (UTC)

Only under very specific circumstances. Non-free logos can be used provided that:
  • they are used in at least one article, about the company that owns the logo or the logo itself
  • they are uploaded in a low-res format
  • a complete and detailed Fair Use rationale is provided for each use of the image (i.e. you'll need a separate rationale for every page where it appears)
