What is the best way to add an additional citation to a book already cited? Also, is there a format for adding a citation to an existing Wikipedia page?

This could be a tricky question, since there are various citation methods used in Wikipedia. An example of what you want to do would be handy, but maybe WP:FOOT#Citing_a_footnote_more_than_once answers your question. Template:Location map Greater Manchester

Hi, we are trying to create a unified place template for all UK locations, and attempting to incorporate the {{Location map Greater Manchester}} template into the code as we have already done with {{Location map United Kingdom}} and {{Location map Greater London}}. However, our tests are producing somewhat sporadic results, with the dots appearing far to the left of their intended location. See User:Djr_xi/Stretford or User:MRSC/Infobox UK place/Oldham for examples. I don't suppose you would be able to figure out what's going wrong? Regards, DJR (T) 23:22, 20 February 2007 (UTC)

Metropolitan Nav Box

You've got a point there! I like a challenge. Maybe I'll do one for the Waterlook & City. :-) If I get onto it I'll look at doing some more but if you want to put any together, drop me a line so we don't duplicate effort. RJD Diagrams

These diagrams are a very worthwhile addition to the Wikipedia 'armoury'. They add clarity to purely verbal material about railway lines, stations, junctions etc. I've used some of your uploadings in several articles. Alexandra Palace

I've undid this edit of yours; Alexandra Palace station is on the Great Northern mainline and has never been a part of the London Underground, nor has it ever been proposed. You may be confusing it with the "Northern Heights" plan to link Alexandra Palace (the building, not the station) to the Northern Line, but that would have run to the station in the palace itself and approached the Palace from the western side, and wouldn't have come as far east as the current station. – iridescent 12:51, 11 March 2009 (UTC)

Composers categories

Hi. I see you have been creating some new 'triple attribute' categories, such as 'Welsh Renaissance composers' etc. In the past the Composers project (like other classical music projects) have not been in favour of this. It's been discussed again here. I'm wondering if you wouldn't mind having a go at deleting them? If this is difficult for you, I'd be happy to help. Museums and art galleries in Manchester

I just removed the gallery that you added to the Manchester article, as galleries are generally discouraged and we need to be careful to keep this GM project flagship up to FA standard. On which subject I notice that no citations have been provided for this new section. Is that something you're able to take care of? --Malleus Fatuorum 13:43, 24 July 2009 (UTC)

Pity, I tend to favour them for something of visual importance, such as sections covering arts or architecture, as they support descriptions visually. Culture of Manchester may be a more relevant space for this, as it's a shorter article and would benefit more from this level of detail. Thanks for letting me know. Great work. Auchenharvie's repair account surfaced in the market a couple of years ago and was bought by the Folger. Of course, they will send scans on request for modest fee, but it has not been published. The first two entries read a bit like this;
