[edit]I think you made a mistake D: And since you just reverted your own edits, i think you're already aware. :P can u at least remove the vandalism thing on my talk page? please and thank you~ UnkEdit (talk) 13:19, 8 August 2008 (UTC)
- Yes, sorry about that. I undid the edit on the page, and I thought I undid the automated warning, but Huggle crashed, and I forgot to go back and fix it. --Wikieditor06 (talk) 13:35, 8 August 2008 (UTC)
Speedy deletion via G4
[edit]Hi! I noticed that you tagged Steve Dabbs as a G4 speedy. However, I couldn't find an AfD discussion relating to this article. G4 is a tag only for articles that have been deleted by an Afd. Articles deleted by the speedy or PROD process don't qualify. Of course, if there is an Afd for this article which I missed, please feel free to ignore this entire message. Cheers! TN‑X-Man 16:44, 8 August 2008 (UTC)
- The article was deleted through speedy deletion. I didn't know G4 wasn't used for old speedy deletions; I'll bear it in mind for the future. Thanks! Wikieditor06 (talk) 16:47, 8 August 2008 (UTC)
So Sorry
[edit]I had no intention to have some experiment on the English pages. Infact I am trying to translating this page into Indonesian to enrich our Indonesian Wikipedia since I am one of the contributor there. My user page is http://id.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pengguna:NaidNdeso Again, I am so sorry for this, since it was happen accidentally.
With regard to the pictures, since I can't find the Pics of DreamWorks in common, could you please advise from where I can get the pictures to be put in the Indonesian Wikipedia please.
Your help and guidance is much appreciated.NaidNdeso (talk) 21:44, 8 August 2008 (UTC)
- No problem... mistakes happen. I'm not sure where to obtain pictures, but Wikipedia:Image use policy may be of assistance to you. Wikieditor06 (talk) 05:06, 9 August 2008 (UTC)
Pardon the intrusion but I saw that you are participating in Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Century Mall and I have just completed an overhaul of the target article to both expand it and add references. I would appreciate it if you would review the article as it currently stands. Thanks. - Dravecky (talk) 21:26, 14 August 2008 (UTC)
- No problem. The new page looks good; it was marked as keep before I could revise my comments, but the page looks good -- I would have changed my vote :). --Wikieditor06 (talk) 17:42, 15 August 2008 (UTC)
I got a question.
[edit]I created an article, about a band called "Ajus", its an American/Brazilian band that holds records on iTunes Store for well selling Brazilian band in American Stores, its a shame to delete it, and its remarkable to deep think about it, hope you get what im trying to tell you.

Mistakes
[edit]Hello sir or madam,
I have recently noticed that you have decided to revert several revisions to the page for Tuscarora High School. However, I regret to inform you that your deletion has removed some quality information for the page. I believe you may have not had the necessary information to base your decision on. There are several distinguished teachers at Tuscarora High School to whom you are doing a disservice by removing any information on them. I understand that Tuscarora High School is a small, relatively unknown school and you may have not known the consequences of your actions. That being said, there are many students who are very disappointed because their favorite teacher is not on the list of Notable Faculty. Please understand these teachers are the top rated at this particular high school; they are not simply random names. Thank you for your time in reading this. I know you will make the correct choice with this knowledge. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.2.194.209 (talk) 05:01, 9 November 2008 (UTC)
- Thank you for your concern about the integrity of Wikipedia. Please read Wikipedia:Notability thoroughly; there are sections pertaining to criteria for inclusion of biographies and information about schools. The pages Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Citing sources may also be useful to assist you in making constructive edits to Wikipedia. --Wikieditor06 (talk) 05:09, 9 November 2008 (UTC)
Vandalism
[edit]You reverted the first and second vandalisms ever to my page! Thanks!--otherlleft (talk) 19:57, 9 November 2008 (UTC)

recent thermite edit reversion
[edit]A couple of minutes ago i edited the section of ignition of the thermite page. it needs to be noted that a small fire WILL ignite thermite randomly and without any warning. a while ago that happened to me and i remember looking it up on Wikipedia and assuming that a small fire fell under "conventional ignition". i don't just tell you this for the safety of all of us dumb idiots, but also for the leg hairs that were lost. *sniff*
in all seriousness though, i do think that needs to be noted with regards to the ignition —Preceding unsigned comment added by Halcyon575 (talk • contribs) 02:49, 28 November 2008 (UTC)
- I appreciate your concern; unfortunately, your edit was not appropriate for inclusion into an encyclopedia. There is already a section in the article dedicated to hazards, and I don't think an additional disclaimer or warning is necessary. I recommend reading Help:Contents/Editing Wikipedia and Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not. You can also discuss a topic on the article's talk page to get insight from other Wikipedia contributors. Thank you for your interest in contributing to Wikipedia, and I hope you continue to make constructive edits. --Wikieditor06 (talk) 03:01, 28 November 2008 (UTC)
"Dollar Bill" Nickname
[edit]"Dollar Bill" is a commonly used nickname for William Jefferson in the New Orleans area and media. See the links below, for example (or just google yourself). Hence, to call edit out "Dollar Bill" as non-constructive, is, I believe, not contructive. In fact, the second image in the very same article refers to "Dollar Bill"!!

- I don't doubt your assertion that he is referred to as "Dollar Bill." Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, however, and it is not appropriate to include such nicknames, especially in the first sentence of an article. If you refer to the article's talk page, other editors already discussed the addition of such nicknames as not complying with Wikipedia's Neutral Point of View. Please remember Wikipedia operates on the consensus principle. Please see Help:Contents/Policies and guidelines and Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not for more information on constructive editing. Thanks. --Wikieditor06 (talk) 14:53, 29 November 2008 (UTC)
Saline, Michigan
[edit]Dear Wikieditor06,
The Saline MI page of Wikipedia is being used to indulge greviances here in Saline. There has been much back and forth on the page, especially in a section called "Fiddle Groups" and "More on Fiddle groups."
I lead one of the Fiddle groups in question. Our webmaster showed me where you restored a recently deleted section about the fiddle groups. I don't know who wrote it orginally or who deleted it, but I think that if you read the second paragraph of the section you restored you will see what we are dealing with.
This has been happening off and on for some time now. Our webmaster has monitored the site and in the past edited the section to correct the worst misrepresentations. You can't know whom to believe. I'm just telling you what your site is being used for and hoping you will form some opinion as to the state of mind of the writer of the deleted/restored section from the inflammatory wording.

Danite123 (talk) 00:32, 2 December 2008 (UTC)Hi there, I’m researching an article about Wikipedia, and its editors. I wonder if you I could talk to you about Wikipedia, and how you use it, for a magazine about not-for-profit organisations. If you could spare some time and wouldn’t mind answering some questions by email or phone, please contact me on Bennett.d@hotmail.co.uk, or leave a message here or on my talk page.
Many thanks,

You are not being fair.
[edit]Reason with me. I am not editing this. I am posting a new topic. I don't understand why you cannot believe what i have added in. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.53.55.50 (talk) 18:12, 22 December 2008 (UTC)
- Your edits are clearly unconstructive. Please do not continue adding factually incorrect and unreferenced material. Thank you. Wikieditor06 (talk) 18:16, 22 December 2008 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
