Saffir-Simpson Hurricane Scale
[edit]No one is objecting to Katrina being a Category 3 storm. However, there has been a general consensus since September 2005 that Katrina is a poor example of a Category 5 hurricane (since it made landfall as a Category 4, then revised during post-season analysis to Category 3), nor of the other two categories (since Katrina peaked at Category 5). Since it is a rather ambiguous example of intensity, we leave it out. Titoxd(?!? - cool stuff) 20:41, 19 September 2010 (UTC)
