You have chosen a contentious area to start your editing in. Admins are not going to find your behavior amusing as they already deal with enough crap in the topic area.
Discuss content not editors.

I didn't "attack" them. I simply explained in my edit summary that the posting of a form letter on my talk page, with no further explanation or discussion of the content in question, was rude. Frankly, it was rude. (And if you look at the subsequent history of the page, 3 other editors - Moshbogu, Valjean, and Slywriter, all later made the same reversions I did to that editor's subsequent edits.) I'm perfectly happy to discuss content and not drive-by templates/form letters or whatever you call them. I don't appreciate your threats and I think they are uncalled for.
