Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Parable of the Unjust Judge, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Persistent (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:08, 29 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

So sorry about that! I'll repair it straightaway. Writers Bond (talk) 18:23, 29 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Help me

[edit]

Can someone please carefully check the articles West Side Story and West Side Story (film)? Some of the names of cast members and characters seem dodgy to me, names like Loco and Snow Boy for instance. But this film is quite old and not in my area of expertise. Any help at all would be so much appreciated. Writers Bond (talk) 20:34, 30 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Reply to {{help me}} request: There is a clean-up template that you can place on the pages in question and then post your concerns on the article talk pages. Here is a link to the template: {{expert-subject}}. Hopefully that will help. Your own user talk page is an unlikely place to find that specific help, but the article talk pages should help you out. —    Bill W.    (Talk)  (Contrib)  — 20:46, 30 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

FYI and a word to the wise, when you use the term "revert" and that revert power (other than on obvious WP:Vandalism) some editors get upset. I didn't, but some do. The use of the term "undo" is less pejorative. I was just going to let you deal on your own with the bot disambiguation link message on Cinnamon. Happy editing. 7&6=thirteen () 14:47, 13 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

OK. I'll keep that in mind from now on. Writers Bond (talk) 14:49, 13 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
There is a whole lot of ego in some of this, and some of our esteemed editors do not react rationally. We need to avoid unneeded dissonance and pick our fights. 7&6=thirteen () 14:56, 13 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Some baklava for you!

Enjoy! Keep up the good work. 7&6=thirteen () 19:05, 13 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you! I truly appreciate it, and your advice as well.  :) Writers Bond (talk) 19:07, 13 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
If I can help, give me a shout. 7&6=thirteen () 19:22, 13 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
