[edit]What did [1] break? I tested it before hand and it it looked just fine to me. Headbomb {talk / contribs / physics / books} 15:28, 2 November 2010 (UTC)
- Do you have a link to an article it broke? Headbomb {talk / contribs / physics / books} 15:34, 2 November 2010 (UTC)
The problem apparently was that templates will insert white space when "</span>" is found before a newline. (Or perhaps this is just how HTML behaves in general).
{{foobar |<span>bla bla blah</span> }} Blih blah bloh.
Gives whitespace
{{foobar |<span>bla bla blah</span>}} Blih blah bloh.
Doesn't. Anyway things are fixed now. Thanks for point the problem out.Headbomb {talk / contribs / physics / books} 15:53, 2 November 2010 (UTC)
Your edits to Israel, Palestine and the United Nations
[edit]I undid everything you did to this article. This is a controversial political subject that requires much discussion prior to major edits. I created a discussion topic about you in the talk page. Emmanuelm (talk) 00:24, 3 November 2010 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Antonio Cortina Farinós
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Antonio Cortina Farinós requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. WuhWuzDat 18:14, 3 November 2010 (UTC)
I am working on this article to expand it, if you are interested in taking a look. French and German Wikipedias also have information about his long life and many activities. Sharktopus talk 01:57, 10 July 2011 (UTC)

[edit]My apologies- please feel to revert, although if muftiate can be covered as several paragraphs on the mufti page that may also solve the problem? Hope you have a good new year.andycjp (talk) 01:10, 20 December 2011 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
