You are now at three reverts. You must get consensus for your proposed changes. Please read the guideline. Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 19:20, 19 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent editing history at Circumcision shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. You are engaged, too. It would be nice if you had contacted me first and if you had asked me why I made the change before reverting my edit several times. Yuri7474 (talk) 20:03, 19 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Warning

[edit]

So it appears you followed me to the Placebo article to revert an edit I made, using exactly the kind of edit summary that you have argued on my Talk page is unacceptable.[1] This looks suspiciously like WP:POINT-making. Be aware the disruptive editing is likely to end up with you being blocked or banned. Alexbrn (talk) 05:30, 20 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Yes I looked at your Talk page to see if you display the same disruptive behaviour elsewhere and with other people. As a result, I saw you were involved in edit warring over cherry juice. I also came across the placebo topic and because I don't like judging people at first sight, I went to the placebo article and looked more closely into what happened, there. My action was based at what I saw there, nothing less, nothing more, dear Alex. Let me give you some advice: You would come across much kinder if you would refrain from unnecessarily citing guidelines and threatening with blocks and bans all the time. You could be helpful and, for example, look for better sources to substantiate article texts if you think a certain source is not good enough. That is what collaboration is about. I might be wrong but somehow I have the slight impression that collaboration is a difficult thing for you. Yuri7474 (talk) 12:13, 20 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
