Language templates

[edit]

I think you made a mistake when you added categories to the templates of "User de-5" and some other language templates. Due to this modification, the menu part "in other languages" of my user page has been deformed. I ask you to remove that. --Arolión Yolenda 16:53, 24 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Category:User hy-0

[edit]

I have speedy deleted a category you created, Category:User hy-0, as recreation of previously deleted content. Please see this UCFD, resulting in delete. Thanks for understanding! VegaDark (talk) 08:23, 30 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I've deleted the category once again, and protected the page from being recreated. Repeatedly recreating categories that have been deleted via XfD can be considered disruption, please do not do so again in the future. VegaDark (talk) 01:50, 31 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

i have translated this to slovenian, have fun :-P

This user does not understand slovene (or understands it with considerable difficulty). -Ta uporabnik ne razume Slovensko (ali jo razume z precejsno tezavo)

These users speak Slovene. -Te uporabniki govorijo slovensko

Hi Zerolex. There are two problems with your move of Mapudungun to Mapudungun language:

1: You replace the content of Mapudungun by a redirection, so in Mapudungun language looks like as if you be a creator of article.
2: The move is inadequate because "language" is a explanation for ambiguous terms like English or Chinese, but no for Inuktitut or Sanskrit. Mapudungun is the right title since this word is only referred to the language of Mapuche people.

Bye. --Lin linao 21:36, 1 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Re your question to User:Zocky: see {{User_sl-0}}. Please note that you should have left the message at User talk:Zocky, not on the user's "front" page. Duja 14:34, 4 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Translation to Slovene

[edit]

Hi, according to your request on my talk page:

you can traslate to slovene this

  • This user does not understand slovene (or understands it with considerable difficulty).
  • These users speak Slovene.

--Zerolex 18:44, 1 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Translations are:

  • Ta uporabnik ne razume (ali precej slabo razume) slovensko
  • Ti uporabniki govorijo Slovensko.

Ajgorhoe 12:08, 5 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hey there!

Sorry I couldn't do it sooner, but I've been having some trouble with adding comments ... So there goes your translation: This user does not understand slovene (or understands it with considerable difficulty). - Ta uporabnik ne razume slovenskega jezika (ali ga razume s precejšnimi težavami). These users speak Slovene - Ta uporabnik govori slovenski jezik.

I used the term "slovenski jezik" (Slovenian/Slovene language) as it seemed more scientific, so to say. If you'd like the direct translation of "Slovene", drop me a note on my talk page.

(I just now noticed that there are already two translations... One more can't hurt, I guess.) Aljoša Avani 22:34, 7 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Asian 10,000 Challenge invite

[edit]

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Asia/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like South East Asia, Japan/China or India etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Asian content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the current Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon which has produced near 200 articles in just three days. If you would like to see this happening for Asia, and see potential in this attracting more interest and editors for the country/countries you work on please sign up and being contributing to the challenge! This is a way we can target every country of Asia, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 05:05, 21 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
