V. M. Munuswamy (2 October 1913 – 19 February 2008) was an Indian freedom activist from Vellore, Tamil Nadu, known for his contributions to the Indian independence movement.

Biography

Munuswamy was born on 2 October 1913 in Tamil Nadu, India. In 1926, when the Indian independence movement was between non-violence and extremism, Munuswamy joined extremist faction of the movement. However, with the rise of Gandhism, he eventually left extremism faction and became a part of the nonviolent resistance movement.[1][2][3]
