Function details: Under time pressure to get the original lists up, I decided a month ago to use placeholders for the 'name' column of lists of UK listed buildings in cases where English Heritage does not provide a name on their listings. However, upon review it has been clear that the reason English Heritage does not provide a name in these cases is because the properties are, in address terms, numbered rather than named, i.e. the first line of their address is "23 High Street" or "93 Park Lane W1". Literally 100% of cases follow this pattern.
In some cases, enterprising volunteers have swapped the placeholder for a tidy version of the first line of the address ; this request is to automatically follow suit in all cases left untouched by volunteers. Note that the placeholders originally were simply repetitions of the "Type" column i.e. no data would be lost in the process of scrubbing them.
If the new address is of the form "93 Park Lane W1", the W1 will be moved to the location field, which becomes Chelsea W1 (for example).

[edit]Approved for trial (20 edits). Please provide a link to the relevant contributions and/or diffs when the trial is complete. Seems like a simple task, small scope, trusted botop, small trial to see the actual results. As per that example edit, I hope the addresses won't be all uppercase? — HELLKNOWZ ▎TALK 22:32, 17 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- Trial complete. A couple of very minor presentational issues, which the bot has now learnt from (addition of a space, omission of a comma), both otherwise happy with it, if approved I'm happy to continue to diff watch until I drift off to sleep. - Jarry1250 [Vacation needed] 23:33, 17 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Speedily Approved. All looks good. — HELLKNOWZ ▎TALK 08:19, 18 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
