- a quick question what is your native language? bot looks good. just want to hear back befor i give the go ahead for the trial it. the answer has no effect on the outcome. Does this bot auto stop when there is a edit on its talk page? Betacommand (talk • contribs • Bot) 20:58, 9 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
- Interwiki bots generally get speedy approval, so I'd like to make a couple points:
- I looked at some of the contributions by the bot on other languages. They look great.
- I'm going to AGF here and since 4 other languages have already approved this, we should do the same.
- If other approval group members agree, we should just skip the trial period and immediately approve for this task only, unless there is concern about compatibility using the English Wikipedia with a bot. I've never used pywikipedia-framework, but I'd assume that this is trivial and taken care of automatically, given how common this framework is for interwiki links.

- I checked and this user's bot account is *already* in operation and just seeks the bot flag, which we should speedily grant. -- RM 03:00, 10 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
- I agree and will speedy aprove as soon as the user responds. Betacommand (talk • contribs • Bot) 03:43, 10 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
- Hi again. My native language is Portuguese and I'm and admin at Portuguese Wikipedia. I use the pywikipedia-framework which is the standard for the majority of interwiki bots. As for it stopping when there's an edit to the talk page, I'm not sure it does. I believe it does not stop but it generates a warning. Nevertheless, I frequently check the bot's talk page. I operated the bot on a few pages yesterday without the flag in case you would like to check the result of its work. Regards and thanks, Malafaya 12:46, 10 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
