I nominated this article for featured article status (only archive4 and after, not the previous times), but I've come to the realization that the nomination was a mistake. As detailed at Talk:Mumia Abu-Jamal/Archive 4#Far from a featured article and Talk:Mumia Abu-Jamal/Archive 3#Primary sources almost the entirety of the promoted version was sourced from primary sources, because secondary sources are almost always grossly partisan. The prose of the article has since suffered and it now consists of short stubby paragraphs and sections. I no longer believe that this article meets criteria 1a, 1c, or 2b. There are also problems with 1d (the article is now skewed to a more pro-Mumia viewpoint) and 3 (see Commons:Deletion_requests/File:Mumia2.jpg).
