  • Try not to start a sentence with a number like in "47 of the 50 players...".
  • I believe collapsable tables, such as the list of selectors, cause accessibility issues with mirrors, printing and such.
  • "Nelson was the only member to have never won a championship as a coach, even though he has won five as a player." Drop "has"; he's not going to play again.
  • Is the coaching record supposed to sort by winning percentage? If so, not sure why Pat Riley is sorting before Red Auerbach in that column.
  • Remove comma after "in which" in last sentence of Teams selected.
  • Note f: "Having been injured in the second game, Baylor missed the entire 1971–72 season." If he played in two games, he really didn't miss the entire season. A re-phrasing might be in order. Giants2008 (17–14) 20:18, 26 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • Coaches selected: The coach statistics are incorrect, the footnote says that "..the preceding record is that of the coach at the time of his selection", however the records are up to the 97-98 season, while the selection occurred prior to the 96-97 season. I have fixed the record, but I'm wondering, should the italicized records updated to include the 08-09 season. — Martin tamb (talk) 09:18, 23 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  • Teams selected: What's the criteria on the common sixth men. For example in 69-70 Knicks team, the sixth men is Cazzie Russell, but the reference shows that Mike Riordan played more minutes per game than Russell. Also in 88-89 Pistons team, where Vinnie Johnson is listed instead of Dennis Rodman despite having more minutes per game.
  • Teams selected: What's the criteria on the common starting lineup. For example in 88-89 Pistons team, Mark Aguirre is listed instead of Adrian Dantley who started more games.

The statistics could be incorrect, so I will double-check all of them. (Actually, I forgot to do that :)) As for the lineup, I will include all members of the roster, to avoid disputes on who is the starting five or six man. Comment I have made some changes that I hope will improve the FLC:

  • Fix Patrick Ewing and Magic Johnson position according to the references.
  • Fix 'Team(s) played (years)' details, especially players with partial seasons.
  • Make 'Most Valuable Player won' column sortable and added link to the corresponding season.
  • Fix number of formers NBA players in the voters who were team representatives (Thirteen former NBA players: Attles, Baylor, Bird, Cunningham, Embry, Hannum, Holzman, McGuire, Reed, Shue, Thomas, Unseld, West).

Other than that, the players list looks fine, all contents have been checked for accuracy. Will have a look at other sections later. Just some comments and suggestion though:

  • The coaches list have their Hall of Fame induction year mentioned, should the players list have them as well or it is just unnecessary and irrelevant?
  • I think the 'Season/team' column in the teams section should be split into two, one for 'Season' and one for 'Team', just to give the reader the ability to sort the table by team names.

Well, the primary announcement made by the NBA is about the 50 players, so the title reflects that. Both the coach and team lists are just additional honors selected to accompany with the main player list. Also, the second sentence in the lead already mentions the coach and team lists.
