I am nominating this for featured list because I believe that it meets all of the FL criteria. The list provides a comprehensive and complete history of the results of the Montserrat national football team. Comment the key section should come before the actual list and should be in table form. "In the "Score" column, Monserrat's score is shown first." should be a footnote—Chris!c/t 19:41, 25 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Have put the key first and used a footnote, but from previous experience at FL I'm afraid I don't agree about having the key in table format so I've not done that. -- BigDom 12:51, 26 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Many FLs have the key in table format in case you didn't notice. But I guess that is just personal preference, so feel free to leave that alone.—Chris!c/t 18:32, 26 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Comments - nice to see a niche list here!
  • No image? Not even something vaguely Montserrat-ian?
  • Hmm, I haven't found any uncopyrighted ones up to now, but I'll keep looking. Have left a Photo request on the list's talk page. -- BigDom
  • "football on the island is governed by the Montserrat Football Association " - surely not all football? Perhaps official competitive football?
  • "They are affiliated..." singular "association", plural "they are"...?
  • "has to date" can we be more specific?
  • Changed to "as of December 2009" -- BigDom
  • "The side lost their..." you've just mentioned Anguilla, be careful we don't run the risk of confusion over which "side" you're referring to.
  • Changed to "Montserrat" -- BigDom
  • "for another three" perhaps "for a further three"?
  • You could link "lowest-ranked" to the FIFA rankings article.
  • There's already a link to that article in the same paragraph, so didn't want to overlink. -- BigDom
  • Per above, you use "to date" and "most recent" quite a bit, it'd be handy to have a timeframe on this.

  • "won just two" I think use of "just" is vaguely POV, I'd stick to the bare facts.
  • "record high rank of #196.[6]" - record-high, and perhaps it'd be useful to put this into context as you haven't previously stated what bottom of the rankings is in numerical terms (i.e. #200? #250?).
  • "1996–" would prefer "1996–present"?
  • GF I count 15, not 16 in your summary table.
  • Also make GA 112, but it is getting late..

  • FIFA needs linking in the references for our non-footballing readers.

  • Split into two sentences -- BigDom
  • The friendly match, between the two lowest-ranked teams in the world, ended → The friendly match between the two lowest-ranked teams in the world ended
  • Is is necessary to say "As a full FIFA member", or can it just say "FIFA"? Was it only a partial member before?
  • I think record tables tend to be WLD rather than WDL.
  • Notes A, B, C, D, and E are redundant to the lead or unnecessary because they can easily be inferred from the table.

  • In Footnote A, the team's name is misspelled.
