Lake Placid bobsled track

Reason: Received a request for a Winter Olympics FP from an editor who is working on articles for the upcoming 2010 Winter Olympics. It actually turns out to be quite hard to find historic material in high resolution. Fortunately there is a public domain poster for the bobsled run at Lake Placid, New York where the 1932 and 1980 Winter Olympics took place. Restored version of File:Olympic Bobsled Run Lake Placid.jpg.

Note: Thanks to Durova for taking a stab at a winter olympics picture, and to the FP reviewers for taking a look. There's no hurry on this, but it would be great to have on the main page on February 12, the opening day of the 2010 Winter Olympics, if it meets FP criteria. - Per the upload notes, the histogram and color balance were adjusted in the final edits. That included resetting the black point. If one goes too far with that, texture gets lost. Durova³⁴⁹ 22:16, 30 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
