Here is a picture of Mt. Hood that I took from the Mt. Hood highway, I think it would make someone want to learn more about Mt. Hood and the cascade range.

- Oppose. Due to quality. Grainy in some regions. Mikeo 17:56, 30 July 2006 (UTC)
- Nice but grainy and not that sharp. According to the EXIF datas it was taken at 1/160s at f/22. Obviously the exposure has been fooled by the white snow. According to the sunny f/16 rule this should be 1/100s at f/16. f/22 is also a mistake as it's not optimal for sharpness. Try to shoot it again by sunny weather with f/6.3 at 1/500s . - Oppose Good composition, but poor quality; grainy. There is also already a very nice picture of Mt. Hood (seen here, in my gallery.) If it were better quality, It would be worth having two pictures. Viva La Vie Boheme
- Oppose Nice but grainy and thus not a good example of Wikipedia's best pictures. Thygard - Talk - Contribs - Email ---- 08:09, 31 July 2006 (UTC)
- Oppose - poor composition, it totally looks like someone was driving along, stopped, and took a snapshot. The positioning from the right emergency lane tends to support that hypothesis. Would be much more attractive with a lake, river, or even countryside in the foreground, rather than a highway with electricity poles. :) Stevage 08:48, 31 July 2006 (UTC)
- Oppose - per Viva La Vie Boheme; Image:MtHood TrilliumLake.jpg is a much better picture. It would be unjust to have too many photos of something not particually that significant to a worldwide audience - Jack (talk) 14:41, 31 July 2006 (UTC)
- Oppose per above. --Thelb4 08:02, 1 August 2006 (UTC)
- Oppose I am not keen on the foreground --Newton2 12:51, 1 August 2006 (UTC)
- Weak Oppose Sorry but the road in the foreground is distracting & takes focus away from the mountain. Jam01 09:23, 2 August 2006 (UTC)
- Oppose as per the comments above. I like looking at it though. – Morganfitzp 00:11, 3 August 2006 (UTC)
- Oppose. Too grainy, and the road is a bit distracting (per Stevage). --Tewy 08:02, 4 August 2006 (UTC)
- Support -- not that it matters at this point, but this is a great picture --T-rex 03:24, 6 August 2006 (UTC)
- Oppose -- The road is too distracting and does not fit in with he rest of the picture. Besides that, it's a great photo. Try cropping it. --Jake 19:10, 7 August 2006 (UTC)
