Access

Please note that access to the National Archives venue location requires government-issued ID. When entering, you will be required to pass through a security checkpoint, sign in, and show valid ID. We will also visit other nearby buildings, so it is important to keep your ID with you at all times.

The main venue site is the Innovation Hub at the National Archives. This is accessed from the staff/research entrance on Pennsylvania Ave, not the main exhibits/events entrance which faces the National Mall on Constitution Ave. There will be a sign in the lobby.

Transportation

The National Archives is across the street from Archives station (Green/Yellow), and can also be accessed with a short walk from Federal Triangle station (Blue/Orange/Silver) or Judiciary Square station (Red). Please allow approximately 1 hour for travel by public transportation. For Metro transportation to and from the hotel, follow these steps:

Hotel to National Archives

From Spring Hill station:

Take Silver Line towards Largo to Federal Triangle station. Exit and walk north on 12th St to Pennsylvania Ave, and then walk east (turn right) on Pennsylvania Ave 2 blocks to the National Archives

National Archives to hotel

From National Archives:

Walk west on Pennsylvania Ave two blocks and then turn left (south) on 12th St to Federal Triangle Metro station. Take the Silver Line towards Wiehle Reston to Spring Hill Metro Station.
