@Kaldari: I've just realized that this file is a duplicate of File:Billie Holiday, Downbeat, New York, N.Y., ca. Feb. 1947 (William P. Gottlieb 04251).jpg, which is already in use on a number of pages, including Billy Holiday. I suggest you merge the two files, somehow. In fact, if I update the original with the cleaned copy you may as well get the duplicate deleted. I'm not sure how it works to be honest, so I'll just cheer you on from the sidelines. nagualdesign 21:44, 7 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

...I think I've cracked it. I've updated the original with the cleaned copy, tagged the duplicate file with {{dup}} and replaced 3 instances of the duplicate with the original.
