1910 World Series

Hello. I've listed this article for peer review for a couple reasons. The most obvious reason is because I want a more experienced set of eyes to help point out what I still have to do to improve this article. I want to get it to GA. I feel like this topic, a decently important game in a relatively popular sport, should be easy enough to research, so I think it is a good article to set that goal for.

But there are a couple other reasons:

• I tried hard here to make good citations, which is something I sometimes struggle with in articles, so I would like some comments on that.
• I'm also a little concerned that my prose may not 'reflect an encyclopædic tone,' which is something that Wikipedia seems to want.
• I don't really know what else to add to this article, like, media coverage, I guess? Most World Series articles have that, but those were shown on television or radio to a national audience. This one was just covered in newspapers, like everything was back then.
• Most importantly (to me):I want to be able to do peer reviews myself, so I'm going to be paying attention to what people write and look for.

This is the first time I've ever tried to get an article to GA or even put an one up for peer review so please tell me if I did something wrong

Comments after a quick skim:

• I suggest expanding the lede, per WP:LEDE
• The Background section might suffer from WP:OVERSECTION. Perhaps expand upon the two team sections?
• "The game ended 12–5." Should be cited
• "The Athletics rapped out 16 hits to Chicago's 7. Jack Coombs gave up 5 runs but won his second game of the series." Should be cited.
• "In the ninth inning, Harry Steinfeldt and Joe Tinker flew out. Jimmy Archer singled, and Johnny Kling emerged to pinch hit for the pitcher, as he did in Game 4. Kling grounded to shortstop Jack Barry, who ran to second base to force Archer out. The game ended 7–2." Should be cited
• "Babe Adams did it the year before, but in seven games, and Christy Mathewson accomplished the feat in the 1905 Series. This was the Athletics' first World Series title." Should be cited.
• The "Firsts" section should probably be replaced with a "Legacy" section to avoid WP:TRIVIA. I would also include more information on the influence of this series.

I don't know if this is the right place to bring this up but is this sort of thing a reputable source?

It is a book but it doesn't really seem that the author is any sort of expert—I can't find any qualifications, that is. So my gut tells me, no, this isn't a reputable source, but I want to make sure
