I've listed this article for peer review because… This particular topic seems to run dry of sources (that I can find within my own ability), and I'm not sure where to refine or expand the article from here. Is there more details on the policy of the Vatican City State towards marijuana? Should there, and is there anyway, be more info on the history of marijuana in the microstate and even the precedent Papal States? I need help, this is my first PR request please. Also a general review would be nice.

[edit]I initially thought this a rather odd topic for an article but I see it's one in a series. I've no information on use of cannabis within the Vatican State so can't say whether the article's capable for further expansion but some general comments below:
- Prose
- I've done a light copy edit here, [1]. Feel free to revert.
- "direct co-operation [sic] in evil, since they encourage people to [do] practices gravely contrary to the moral law" - not sure what the [sic] is doing and would [engage in] work better than [do]?
- "cannabis was being widely grown for many industries in the latter motherland" - "in Italy"?
- "given it has retained its aforementioned miniscule land since its independence" - this seems a rather long-winded way to say, "given the lack of space".
- Original research
- "Although not a strictly necessary outcome, it is most likely that a Pope who advocates for marijuana use would allow for it in the canon law of the Church, and therefore the Vatican City under its secular jurisdiction." This uncited statement looks rather like Original research to me. How do we know?
- Coverage
- Appreciate the subject may lack coverage but the History section looks patchy. 1484 and then nothing until 1929.
Hope these are of some help. KJP1 (talk) 10:24, 24 December 2018 (UTC)
