I've listed this article for peer review because I am aiming to bring it back up to featured list standard. As well as general feedback about content and formatting, I would also like feedback from the perspective of those not so familiar with the game of poker, to ensure the article can be understood by a general audience.

I never played poker but I found some issues with this list.
- There are too many bold and colorings. Can it be covered like this "J♣ 8♣ 5♣ 3♣ 2♣"?
- Avoid small paragraphs.
- Poker is kinda overlinked.
Otherwise, it looks good to me. Also I've nominated my own peer review in Wikipedia:Peer review/Allen Walker/archive2. I would appreciate feedback if you have free time. Cheers. Tintor2 (talk) 17:18, 12 August 2016 (UTC)
- @Tintor2: Thanks for the comments.
- I am actually using Template:Cards to render the hands, but I can see your point about excessive boldness. Perhaps I will bring up the discussion on the template talk page. Thanks.
- I have combined a number of short paragraphs into larger paragraphs. A couple of short ones remain because I'm trying to keep the paragraph format the same for each section, i.e.:
- Introduction
- Ranking
- Additional details
- Is this okay now?
- I am actually linking each section as if it were its own article, since other articles tend to link to specific hands, such as Straight flush (poker). Do you still think the additional linking is excessive, now that you know my rationale?
- Thanks for your input. I will make a note to review your article when I have the time (kind of busy right now). Hpesoj00 (talk) 16:51, 13 August 2016 (UTC)
- Good. I'd recommend you to also review other articles to get more responses here.Tintor2 (talk) 14:34, 14 August 2016 (UTC)
- @Tintor2: I have done a number of reviews since posting my PR request, but maybe I need to ask people to reciprocate like you did.
- I have now removed boldface from the cards as you suggested; I have not removed colours as they are useful to distinguish the suits. Do you think I have sufficiently addressed the short paragraphs and bold/colour issues? And do you have any comments about my rationale for linking multiple times in each section?
