Issues to be mediated

[edit]
  • Some pro-warming editors continually exclude, revert and delete submissions by a wide range of good-faith editors. These editors seek to preserve the existing scope of the article as is, and claim only the existing scope is valid.
  • Currrently, some exisitng discussions at the talk page are starting to make progress. However it is unclear as to whether all are truly participating.

Additional issues to be mediated

[edit]
  • Arising from the current dispute is:
  1. To what degree can new sub-topics to be added?
  1. What sort of sources can validly be cited?
  1. what sort of words consitute weasel-words, and what are some valid criteria for terms and modifiers to use? --Sm8900 17:44, 13 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Parties' agreement to mediate

[edit]
All parties should sign below, indicating that they agree to mediate the issue. If any party fails to sign, or if a party indicates they do not agree, then the mediation will be rejected. Only signatures and "agree" or "disagree" should appear here; any comments will be removed.
  1. Agree.

I don't get it. Why is this needed? What is the value of mediation if it is not a standing body able to assist disputes which are not being resolved, regardless of whether some parties wish to have positive resolution? There should be some means of getting positive input and action, even if not al parties seem able to agree on requesting mediation.

Decision of the Mediation Committee

[edit]

A member of the Mediation Committee will indicate acceptance/rejection/other relevant notes in this section. Non-mediators should not edit this section.

<!-- Do not remove this category. It is essential to the case management bot. --> <noinclude>[[Category:Mediation Committee pending cases|Sample]]</noinclude>

Note: When this is finished it's "drafting" stage, please contact me so I can fix up the bot management changes I made. I had to break the categorisation so that this "draft" wouldn't be listed at WP:RFM.
