All of the content in this template already exists in Template:Somali elections; there's no need to have a separate navbox for duplicated content. jp×g 21:53, 11 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep The links on this template should not have been added to {{Somali elections}} (there was even a note in there requesting editors not to add them, which was ignored by the nominator) and have now been removed. There is a longstanding consensus that the national election template series should not include non-public elections, hence why only the two direct elections of the German president is on {{German elections}}, only the recent elections for president in the Czech Republic and Turkey (which both introduced direct election in the last decade) are on {{Czech elections}} and {{Turkish elections}} and why no presidential elections are on {{Israeli elections}} or {{Italian elections}}. • Withdraw nomination. Upon looking into this a little further, it doesn't seem like it makes sense to specifically nominate this template for deletion (since there's a bunch of them like this, and consensus seems to be in favor of them existing). jp×g 01:06, 12 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was soft delete. Based on minimal participation, this uncontroversial nomination is treated as an expired PROD (a.k.a. "soft deletion"). Editors can request the template's undeletion. Primefac (talk) 01:09, 19 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Navbox with only one relevant blue link is not useful. It's quite questionable whether the red links are notable enough to deserve their own articles, but since they've remained that way seven years, it's most likely that this placeholder navbox will not be needed for the foreseeable future. Single-event navbox with minimal links. A link to 2020 People's National Party leadership election should be sufficient. BilCat (talk) 18:42, 3 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
