From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This template is used less than 250 times in {{Infobox college football player}} and in-article tables, where it does not align with the bullet points at MOS:APPROPRIATEICONS. You can see an example of its typical use at Quinn Ewers. This usage could be easily replaced with the word "redshirt". Ed [talk] [OMT] 21:28, 16 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

This is a good solution 136.58.84.30 (talk) 21:34, 16 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Leave the redshirt icon. Not sure about the reference to only being used 250 times. Perhaps I'm missing something. I see it all the time. 2601:5CF:4200:67A0:3725:A2C8:5E0C:E182 (talk) 00:54, 17 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It is used 236 times per [1]. Thetreesarespeakingtome (talk) 02:42, 17 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It looks fine. I think the redshirt icon should stay too. 66.215.49.212 (talk) 19:55, 18 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

No transclusions. No incoming links except for a link from the creator's page, where I asked two years ago whether it was still needed. The creator is banned. – Jonesey95 (talk) 21:27, 16 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

No transclusions, no main article to use it in. Maryborough V/Line rail service has been a redirect since its creation in 2012. – Jonesey95 (talk) 21:26, 16 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose. The Maryborough V/Line rail service article is a redirect because it's covered in the Ballarat V/Line service article. The Maryborough V/Line rail service template shows the timetabled journey. For some reason someone came and edited the Ballarat V/Line rail service template to attempt to cover Maryborough services, however it was edited full of inaccuracies (for example, claiming Cobblebank station was only served by Maryborough services - completely false), I have since undone those destructive edits and restored the Maryborough template to its respective infobox on the Ballarat V/Line rail service article. Please do not delete this template. Граймс (talk) 08:32, 17 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

No transclusions. The pages in Category:Railway stations in the City of Melbourne (LGA) appear to be working just fine without this template. – Jonesey95 (talk) 21:25, 16 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

No transclusions. Requested and created in early 2023, but apparently not needed. – Jonesey95 (talk) 20:52, 16 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I've left a notification at the talk page for the requesting editor from 2023. VanIsaac, GHTV contWpWS 03:31, 17 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Single use simple table. Subst to article and delete template. Gonnym (talk) 08:48, 9 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I plan to add this table to an article about Auckland Transport's fleet. This means that the template would be used on multiple pages. Is this a valid reason not to delete it? --Кайл55 (talk) 11:11, 9 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
If you plan to add them now and not in an unknown time in the future, then fine (the template was created a year and a half ago). Gonnym (talk) 18:06, 9 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Sports roster for a non-current team roster. Only used in one article. Having a roster for every version of a every sports template will lead to navigation bloat and so roster teams should be limited to only the current one. Gonnym (talk) 08:52, 9 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

No transclusions. These are simple template wrappers with no documentation or incoming links. – Jonesey95 (talk) 11:27, 16 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

there used to be one HAt 10:00, 17 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Unused campaignbox. Template:Campaignbox Ukrainian-Soviet War is used instead. Gonnym (talk) 10:23, 16 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Unused campaignbox. Template:Campaignbox Mongol invasions and conquests is used instead. Gonnym (talk) 10:22, 16 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Unused Star Wars family tree. Gonnym (talk) 10:13, 16 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Unused ranks and insignia templates. If any are re-added to articles during this TfD, they can be stricken from this nomination. Gonnym (talk) 10:09, 16 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Only contains one English WP entry. Pointless having a nav box for one entry. LibStar (talk) 10:09, 16 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Now only 1 English entry. LibStar (talk) 23:16, 16 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Unused. Seems Template:Infobox polyhedron is used instead. Gonnym (talk) 10:05, 16 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Unused Russian related citation templates. Gonnym (talk) 10:00, 16 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Unused but also something that probably should not exist. The language templates produce proper italics. If a specific template isn't producing the correct style, it should be fixed at the source. Gonnym (talk) 09:57, 16 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Unused table. Gonnym (talk) 09:54, 16 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Now has no English entries. LibStar (talk) 23:17, 16 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Template seems redundant to Template:Talk header; however, the title of the nominated template does not seem like a plausible search term for "Template:Talk header". For these reasons, substitute and delete (given that the nominated template has 1 transclusion on a user talk page.) Also, see Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2023 January 22#Template:Stay focused for additional context. Steel1943 (talk) 00:10, 16 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
