- Why do you want to start a new group, instead of joining one of these existing groups?
- El Norte related articles need references, it is necessary to gather related pages and improve their content. While the subjects and pages relating to El Norte may overlay with some points of view of the Mexico Project, the latter focuses mostly in mesoamerican narratives, and historical Mexico, while "Norteño Culture" is often mistranslated as "Northern Mexico Culture" due to lack of spread of Norteño culture and information, low population and both suffocating sides of history (U.S. and Mexico) most of the times achieve to opaque the cultural traits of Norteño people. Mexican Wikipedians could relate that Mexican Education System systematically suppresses regional identities and make focus on the U.S. Border. Since this is a political issue, we need to keep the impartial point of view of the articles and referring to the vast of social and anthropologic research that the internet has made available to us.
- The Chicano movement related-project does not cover Norteño culture, though both cultures originate from the same history, these are distinct contexts.
