Description

[edit]

A Wikiproject dedicated to the expansion of Wikipedia's coverage of propaganda Philomathes2357 (talk) 19:45, 7 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

List of important pages and categories for this proposed group

List of WikiProjects currently on the talk pages of those articles
Why do you want to start a new group, instead of joining one of these existing groups?

There are many dozens of articles dedicated to various aspects of propaganda. Many of these articles are in bad shape. Even the main article, Propaganda, is a C-class article. There is a lot of room for improvement here. There are a mind-blowing number of un-used RS, both popular and academic, that deal with this topic. I would like to create a Wikiproject project wherein all of these articles can be analyzed, systematically rated, and improved, merged, or deleted, under one organizational and conceptual framework, and in a structured, collaborative environment.

Philomathes2357, this should definitely become a Project. Maybe one of the reasons it is so quiet here is the paucity of in-links listed here. Maybe if it were more widely known, you would get more support. I'll try and think of a few editors who might be interested, and let them know.
P.S. By the way, do you know if there is a way to suppress the large edit notice that appears at the top of the page in Preview mode? It's both distracting, and irrelevant, or do you know who to ask about it? Thanks, Mathglot (talk) 01:24, 23 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Or at least, a subproject or Task force of an existing one. If WP:MILHIST doesn't already have such a task force, I bet they would be willing to host it. There's a lot of overlap, although I realize they aren't the same thing. Mathglot (talk) 05:23, 23 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
