This will display your claim on an article in interwiki syntax in the following way, using the Japanese (ja) article on metagenomics (メタジェノミクス) as an example:
For an article to be accepted into the contest, it has to be approved by a user who actually understands that language, and by a member of the jury (the two can be identical). Translations from other Wikipedia languages are welcome but have to be indicated as such. Please add your claims (no more than two in total across the English, non-English and Multimedia competitions) below (order them alphabetically, so that duplicates are easily detectable):

Multimedia
[edit]- Possible contributions would be
- creating illustrations for one or more Wikipedia articles (in one or more languages)
- uploading suitably licensed media files onto Wikimedia Commons (note: uploads to individual Wikipedias are not eligible)
- adding illustrations to one or more Wikipedia articles (in one or more languages)
- creating a gallery page on Wikimedia Commons for a topic (e.g. commons:Bioinformatics)
- checking and improving the categorization of files or subcategories in a given Wikimedia Commons category (e.g. commons:Category:Bioinformatics)
- checking and improving the descriptions of files or subcategories in a given Wikimedia Commons category (e.g. commons:Category:Bioinformatics)
- Please add your claim below using wikilinks or interwiki syntax (for example Category:Bioinformatics or commons:Category:Bioinformatics). Please briefly describe what you want to do (following the style of the "possible contributions" above), and do not forget to sign your claim by adding --~~~~ at the end of it.
For example, the text
*[[:Category:Biobanks]] - I want to illustrate all articles in this category on the English Wikipedia and upload new materials to Wikimedia Commons as needed. --~~~~
would display as
- Category:Biobanks - I want to illustrate all articles in this category on the English Wikipedia and upload new materials to Wikimedia Commons as needed. -- Daniel Mietchen (talk) 14:12, 29 August 2014 (UTC)
