This course will help students to meet these objectives, as they relate to the Wikipedia assignments:

  1. Demonstrate mastery of grammar, punctuation, spelling and sentence syntax.
  2. Edit copy for online.
  3. Edit copy according to legal and ethical issues.
  4. Develop a basic understanding of infographics

Applicable content includes the following:

  1. Principles of editing.
  2. Using proper grammar.
  3. Editing for precision, accuracy and language.
  4. Applying legal and ethical considerations.
  5. Writing articles for the online platform.

The Wikipedia course and assignments will help students to apply these concepts.
