Upcoming Dates

[edit]
  • Weekly Workshop (Wednesday, April 6 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the 18th Avenue Library Room 350A): Join us to discuss Wikipedia, learn how to edit, and contribute together. This week, we'll be discussing our upcoming Wikipedia Takes Columbus photography event. Philip Arnold, a photographer within the Knowlton School of Architecture, will be joining us at the beginning with a presentation on good photography tips and techniques. We'll be providing food, drinks, goodies, and editing resources.
  • Wikipedia Takes Columbus (April 10 - 16): A week-long project where we work on illustrating Ohio State on Wikipedia! Ohio State students will photograph campus and upload educational media to the Wikimedia Commons. Anyone who contributes at least 15 files will be entered in a raffle to win a Wikipedia Water Bottle or Citation Needed Scarf!
  • Wikipedia Takes Columbus: Buckeye Scavenger Day (Wednesday, April 13 at 5:00 PM): Next week, in place of our regular weekly workshop, we'll be meeting at the 18th Avenue Library and going on a campus scavenger hunt to photograph Ohio State's campus (weather permitting).
