Comment

[edit]

The names I added were ones that have been popular in site traffic (e.g., John Dalton), have led to past interest (Percy Julian), or who really just deserve attention (Stephanie Kwolek and Inamori). Many of them have extensive Wikipedia pages already. Preston stone (talk) 20:19, 16 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Nobel Laureates

[edit]

CHF has had interaction with (and probably has numerous collections items for) a number of Nobel laureates, including Dudley R. Herschbach and Roald Hoffman, both of whom are amazing people. I'm not sure if what we have merits mention on the main page, though - I add it here for the sake of completeness, and to provide you with another interesting avenue of pursuit. -- Preston stone (talk) 20:32, 16 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Suggestion to remove this project from the WPUS template

[edit]

A user that is not affiliated to GLAM or WikiProject United States has started a discussion at Template talk:WikiProject United States#Suggestion to remove GLAM projects from WPUS template to remove all of the GLAM projects from the WPUS template. Since the user notified WikiProject United States but not this one I wanted to let you know. Kumioko (talk) 17:01, 12 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Over?

[edit]

Thanks for the information, I skimmed the page and enjoyed getting a sense of the work done. If the project ended, please update outreach:Wikipedian in Residence. Thanks, Nemo aka Federico Leva (BEIC) (talk) 17:08, 24 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
