Wikipedia talk:Naming conventions (fictional elements)
What is this about?
[edit]I am very confused as to what this idea is. P,TO 19104 (talk) (contribs) 18:59, 24 August 2020 (UTC)

USS Enterprise
[edit]Just one example: Star Trek elements named USS Enterprise should be disambiguated to the work, followed by the model number. That way non-trekkies would not think that CVN-65 and NCC-1701 might be sisters. :) Downsize43 (talk) 06:42, 2 September 2020 (UTC)
X in (work)
[edit]This guideline has several options on lists and treatments of work-specific elements. But the whole idea of a naming convention is to standardize these kinds of things. I think the cleanest convention would be to get rid of List of (work title) characters/locations/etc. as an option. So all of these would be formatted as "(List of) X in Y", where "List of" is only used for lists instead of treatments. So List of characters in SpongeBob SquarePants, List of planets and moons in Star Wars, and Characters in the Super Smash Bros. series. VanIsaacWScont 20:20, 3 September 2020 (UTC)
