- @Bluerasberry: Thanks (I also edited and published the third story you linked BTW, in my work capacity). Still, I wouldn't say it's my area of expertise, but perhaps these German examples are interesting for you too:
- de:Wikipedia:Festivalsommer is a large-scale effort where Wikimedians attend music festivals and concerts, to take photos of performing artists, often with accreditation obtained with help of the German-language chapters. Achim Raschka should be able to give you more information about the process; perhaps you can even get him to write up an English-language blog post for the Wikimedia blog for the benefit of others who might be interested in adapting the model in other countries.
