In AmEng, "Practising law from 1931" means "practicing law that he got from 1931", never "beginning in 1931" (unless followed by "to"). At TFA, I'd prefer it if we always follow the BritEng "from" (in this sense) by "to", or rewrite using "in". - Dank (push to talk) 17:35, 25 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
