XVII Tranche Project Audit

[edit]

Hi, I have started back on this and after some initial copy edits, I thought I might ask some questions on grammar/style.

  1. "The role of own allies are often ignored" v "The role of own allies is often ignored": I think it is "the role" (singular) which is ignored. I am seeing the former usage a couple of times and thought I might ask for confirmation.
  2. "The role of own allies are often ignored" v "The role of ones own allies are often ignored": Again, I am thinking that the latter is correct.

Comments please. Regards, Cinderella157 (talk) 02:27, 21 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
