Keep

This Artist is very notable. He has became popular in the Deep South with his hits such as Dirt Road Anthem, and Kick it in the Sticks. I even have a Reference about an article done about him in the Charleston City Paper. Gsmith53515 (talk) 18:49, 7 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Check out the Youtube video that has only been up for 4 months. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JCsyA4DHwHE Gsmith53515 (talk) 22:07, 7 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Youtube is not a reliable source, and thus does nothing to establish notability by itself. Qwyrxian (talk) 00:58, 8 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding the Deletion--please see the criteria for notability at WP:MUSIC. Which criteria of those criteria do you believe Gilbert meets, and what reliable sources exist to prove his notability? Qwyrxian (talk) 02:17, 8 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Who on earth nominated BG for deletion? He wrote a Billboard Country #2 song, has multi-million view youtube videos, and sells out every single venue he hits in minutes. Skiendog (talk) 20:46, 24 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

I just stripped out a bunch of lines that were lifted exactly or almost exactly from [1]. This info may be able to be rephrased, but I don't have the time to do so now. However, it is imperative that Wikipedia not copy the work of other websites or sources--instead, we summarize what those sources say in encyclopedic language. So feel free to add the underlying information again, but don't do it in others' words. Also, if anyone has time, please check the rest of the article for similar problems. Qwyrxian (talk) 05:55, 8 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sorry about this. I'm new and posted the article up before I was even supposed to. That is why I had those violations. I have so many edits because it was not supposed to be complete yet and I was still editing until late today. Thanks Gsmith53515 (talk) 03:13, 10 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Genre

[edit]

Needs to be labeled as rock, not country. Pages need to stop misleading people about music genres.--Emgee1129 (talk) 03:58, 11 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Horrible

[edit]

I don't know how this guy makes a living as a singer. He's horrible. Bloody awful. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:8805:5800:F500:4CB0:ECF:7A9B:F8EA (talk) 01:49, 15 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
