Inappropriate style
[edit]The Campzone page got tagged for inappropriate style. I was able to contact the person who did this, and he explained clearly why it was tagged. I changed the parts neccesary and will try to avoid further tags now I know what the problem was :). --CZero 11:59, 10 August 2005 (UTC)
- Thank you for your contribution. :)
- Your English is a little "rough" at some places, so please don't feel insulted when some of your text is edited for readability and style. JeroenHoek 13:09, 10 August 2005 (UTC) ("Freak_NL" on CZ forum)
- No, not insulted at all. It's just the fact that I have to do this in my free time, and therefor I'm rather in a hurry. I plan to check my spelling and style a few hours to a day later for readability etc. My English should be good enough, but my first edits aren't that pretty ;). I saw this initaitive and am trying to make time to contribute from the information we as organisation have available to us! :) Next in line is the history (as you asked on the forum) and some list of facts. After that I'm doing a part of the network (my piece will be revised by Quindor first). --CZero 14:46, 10 August 2005 (UTC)
- I look forward to it. The article is coming along nicely this way. JeroenHoek 16:12, 10 August 2005 (UTC)
Organisation part
[edit]JeroenHoek changed my goal into a better worded goal. Though I rather think it's a better worded goal, I think it's missing the key part: The special part of CampZone, is that it's the first dedicated gaming outdoor lanparty. That was the main reason to make CampZone what it is now, for the gaming audience. Maybe you see a way you can re-add that little fact to the goal Jeroen? I don't want to touch your better words, so I whish to leave that to you :). Contact me at MSN or ICQ if you want to know more or have more whishes etc: msn:czero@gameparty.net, icq:7550686 --CZero 14:56, 10 August 2005 (UTC)
- Readded. How's this? JeroenHoek 16:17, 10 August 2005 (UTC)
- Just perfect! Thanks man :). Tonight I have no time (i'm out), but I'll continue working on it tomorrow... (And thanks for indenting my earlier reactions, I'm getting the hang of this Wiki-markup this way) CZero 16:44, 10 August 2005 (UTC)
Biggest Outdoor LAN in Europe?
[edit]Is Campzone the biggest outdoor LAN in Europe? Any verifiable sources? I commented it out for the time being.Qevlarr 00:49, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
Article is mostly original research
[edit]I am new to Wikipedia so I might be wrong here, but this article seems to be subpar and lacking sources. While I suppose a lot of articles start out that way, some of the things written in this article also seem to be based on POV. Such as the list of notable groups. Previously there were even a few lines dedicated to someone's review of the weather of a specific edition of the event, along with one of his/her life lessons for outdoor gaming events. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Durpedia (talk • contribs) 17:41, 22 March 2016 (UTC)
