Add example of the Netherlands in the Examples section
[edit]Being a low-lying country, Netherlands is one of the most commonly discussed examples when it comes to the risk of flooding and sea level rise. The country has also been proactive in developing and adopting measures and technologies to mitigate the future risk of flooding. Hence, the Netherlands should probably be included as an example in the Examples section. VM98 (talk) 18:12, 28 November 2020 (UTC)
- Hi VM98, I've done some work on the examples section. I am not sure if it should become a "comprehensive" examples section or just give the main prominent examples from around the world (I am leaning towards the latter). As most of those examples have sub-articles I think it's sufficient to link to those sub-articles rather than to repeat too much content here. Even the section on Hurricane Katrina could probably be reduced, given that there is a separate article for it. Otherwise it seems that it receives too much emphasis for an event that happened in the US compare to other events around the world. EMsmile (talk) 10:25, 28 December 2020 (UTC)
