[edit]

Irving's involvement with jewish settling projects in the city of Jerusalem has attracted a fair amount of criticism from occidental media. A reportage of L'été papillon, a show that airs on French channel Canal Plus, showed how Irving's income from his investment in gambling is mostly directed towards jewish settlement projects, A political analyzer on the show described Moskovitch's actions as threatening to the entire peace process. While Los Angeles rabbi Haim Beliak said that the majority of the funds resulting from Irving's activities in the gambling business is used to entice impoverished Arab families from Eastern Jerusalem to sell their houses, in order to increase the jewish presence in the Arab side of Jerusalem, as part of Moskovitch's plan to fully erase the Arab presence from Jerusalem.

"Arab" to Palestinian

[edit]

Changing the wording here, as the Arabs in question are Palestinian Arabs, and identify as Palestinian before identifying as "Arab" generically. Although this should be an uncontroversial edit, it's worth noting that right-wing Israelis and pro-israel people online and IRL routinely refer to Palestinians as "Arabs" generically because they believe that Palestinians don't represent a distinct people. 2607:FEA8:A4E0:11EC:A5A1:FD31:9855:7CE4 (talk) 01:30, 3 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
