I understand that this article was created as a class assignment, and that students will edit to improve it. So holding back on comment and letting them get on with their improving the article seems fair enough. But. Improvements need to be made sooner than later, to fix problems. Here's one that needs attention now, the last sentence of the intro -- "During this era, NASCAR experienced a significant rise in popularity that persisted until its fatal end in the early 2000s."
