Nomenclature

The Namdharis are the people who follow the Kuka Samparda, according to the Satgurus, hence better to separate Namdhari as a demonym and Kuka Samparda as the religion; like Muslim and Islam. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Charhat Singh (talk • contribs) 18:15, 4 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

This argument is completely unfounded. It has no reference whatsoever. It appears that you are assuming things and adding contents in Wikipedia based on your personal assumptions. @Bharatavarsh.1947 - Also, there are strange claims on the "Namdhari Movement" article created. For example, the intro claims that the Namdharis were a kind of "pre-Marxist Communism", and cites Khushwant Singh's work (without a page number). Bhai Kahn Singh Nabha

Bhai Kahn Singh Nabha has never claimed Guru Gobind Singh lived to 146 years. Unless we get a verifiable source, I will delete this. Thanks--Sikh-History 22:08, 4 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Of course, what the article is saying that it is the Namdharis who believe that Guru Gobind Singh lived to 146 years. Bhai Kahn Singh is merely the source that has recorded this fact. Jon Ascton (talk)
